Am considering taking pony sock commissions if there is interest. Can make for any generation/style of pony. But anyhow, Luna! In socks! D'aaaaw!

(Totally posted this here by accident, but I shall leave it anyhow)

Firstly, let's get business out of the way. :)

Custom slots auction!

One chibi slot and one large plush slot are open. The auction is being held here: http://bladespark.livejournal.com/1236750.html

Sales!

I've added things to my sales, AND I've lowered nearly all my prices! Sales can be found here: http://bladespark.livejournal.com/1129035.html

And now the good part. I've taken photos of my whole collection! There's a lot of it!

Lots and lots of photos under here )

Pokemanz

Today I made an Umbreon! (Well, over the last several days.)

Also I'm selling some pokemon stuff over here --> http://community.livejournal.com/pkmncollectors/8459993.html

If you're not a member of that community, you can comment on this post here and express an interest in buying, but I think most of the pokemon fans reading this are over there too. :)

In other news, today I got an Eevee!

:D It is life-sized. So is Jolteon.
bladespark: (Default)

This came in the mail today. :D It's a Pokemon Time Charmander plush, and not only is it weapons-grade cute, the mouth opens with a little spring hinge and it can bite things! Eeeeeeee! So cute!

Here's bigger photos )

Best. Plush. Ever. Now the sad thing is this means I need to find the other two! There's a Bulbasaur and a Squirtle. They are equally cute, but even more rare. (You don't want to know what I paid for this. Srsly.)

Also, speaking of paying for things, brand new Pokemon sales post up! With lowered prices and lots of new plush! http://bladespark.livejournal.com/1129035.html

(X-posted to my lj/pkmcollectors, because the cute must be shared.)

I'm selling the above pictured rocks. :) Most are second-quality pieces, mostly made in China. But still decent mineral examples and fairly pretty too. I just got better ones now, is all. :D They are mostly 60mm/2" spheres.

Labradorite wand/rod/whatever the heck it is $2 Has several small patches of flash

Oregon Opal geode, double window (what does it mean?!) $5
(the nicest piece here, not second quality at all, and cut locally.)

Ruby in matrix sphere $2

Iolite in matrix sphere $2

Tiger's eye sphere $2

Labradorite sphere $2 Has actually a big, nice flash, but is also full of cracks and flaws.

Pietersite sphere $3 Only a few small areas of flash, but they're very pretty areas, and the non-flash areas are fairly attractive as well.

Larger picture here )

Shipping shouldn't be too bad, but they are stones, so they're not light. Some of them might be a bit more to ship than the stone itself. Part of why I priced 'em so low.

Plush!

As promised, two awesome plushes. (Neither one is perfect, but I'm not going to point out the flaws!)

Also, the plushes I purchased this week, pokedolls in the mail, and a plush collection update. )

Can't sleep. Gah. I'm not even TIRED at all which is absurd. Helloooooooooooooooooooo. I got 7 hours of sleep last night and took a 1 hour nap. I should be totally ready to sleep a normal amount tonight, but no.

Ah well.

Sitting here pondering pokemon plushes some more. I would *love* to do a truly epic scale pokemon plush. Life size Arcanine, anybody? Life sized Rapidash maybe, with hard fittings so you could ride it? Life size Dragonair to coil up on your bed? Or how about a life size Charizard? He's not actually that big, I could totally make him! So many ideas. But they're all just too time consuming to do for myself, plus where would I keep them? I'm barely going to have room for the life size Flareon when it's finally done!

So I'd have to get somebody to commission one, in order to do one. Which even leaving aside copyright (which I could for something that epic!) would still have all sorts of problems. For one thing, cost. I mean... we're talking things that are significantly bigger than quad suits! Would anybody commission a plush that's going to have to cost $2-3k? (Well, Dragonair might be less, he's basically just a tube, even if he's a really big tube.) Collectors are crazy, yes, but that's pushing it a bit! It's not like a suit that you can *do* something with, you can't lug a six foot tall Arcanine plush around a convention! And that's just the beginning. Because how on earth would I ship it? Okay, the Dragonair is skinny enough to coil up inside the biggest box I have, I think, if I really squish it. But the Arcanine... yikes. No way that's going in any box. I don't even know if I could get one in a refridgerator box! And if I could, it'd still be too big to ship via USPS or UPS or FedEX or whatever. It'd have to go freight. I've never shipped out freight, but I've gotten freight shipped in, and we're talking $500+ just for shipping. It'd be cheaper for anybody in the western US to drive over and pick it up. They'd just have to have a big car. You're not stuffing something like that in a Prius. (You'd need a van for the Rapidash, since it would be rigid. Or maybe a small U-haul!) The logistics are absurd. And it'd take a LOT of time to make. More than a full suit. More than a quad, even. So a loooooooooooooooooong wait for it, which I guess collectors are used to but...

I dunno. I really like the idea, but would I get any takers? I have no idea!

I'd sleep on it, if I could sleep. :P Tomorrow is going to be fun. Zonked out of my mind while trying to deal with birds, whee.

Edit: making this public just because I decided to not post it to the pkmncollectors community, and instead just tacked a link to it onto my last post there.

Because I need my pokemon fix for the day, (and nothing came in the mail *sadpanda*) I went and edited and updated my Giant Pokemon Post of Doom. A few new things for sale, info about customs, my collection photos, and also a much more detailed want list have all been aded.

Making the list makes me realize that if I do stick with collecting, and do end up eventually getting it all, I am a. going to have a TON of stuff, and b. going to have spent a TON of money on it. >.< Although I'm trying to trade for as much as possible. I've got potentially as many as eight pokedolls coming in trade. :D At least three, and four or five more that seem fairly likely. That makes me happy. And I hope to also manage to get a bunch of zukans the same way. I just lost out on getting a Rapidash Zukan that I really want, so I'm pretty sad about that right now. But on the other hand, I'd bid $61, which I now can go spend on other stuff.

Anyhow, I'm rambling now, but however my collecting comes out, I suspect it's going to be pretty darn epic. Maybe not quite as epic as my peak Windstone collection, but epic all the same.

Now if my canvas plush, beads for sprites, and fabric for pokemon plush would just COME already! *eyes the mail*

But speaking of sweet things, I'm hungry. Time for food, and more sipping chocolate for desert. :D

I've updated my pokemon collecting/trade/sales post a bit, both with new pokestuff I'm looking for and with new stuff for sale.

It's looooooooooooooooooooooooong, sorry!

http://bladespark.livejournal.com/1049494.html

I actually need to take a bunch of new photos, I've gotten some additional stuff including a few figures and a bunch of foam pokeballs, which I'm trying to figure out how to price.

And I'm still looking for this:

A quest!

I'm looking for these:

They cost around $13, but may be less on sale. They could be found at Target, Toys R' Us, or WalMart. Personally I've only seen 'em at Target.

I'm running short on money, so I'd like to trade for them. I will make a Loonakit, a pair of ears, a very simple tail, a couple of bead sprites or a couple of drawings for any one pack.

Comment or drop me an e-mail at spark.costumes@gmail.com if you have them. :)
