It's definitely a hit or miss game. A few folks hit it out of the gate, but most don't. I've been missing for eight years now. I think that my writing is better with each round. I'm now writing stories that I would have never written ten years ago, and I'm having a blast. Yes, I would like $$$, but I wouldn't undo a single book that I've written.

My first year I made about $6. Last year I brought in about $50 across 13 books. Terrible. I'm still not dead, so I keep writing.
