Y halo thar mood swings...

I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind.
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see

Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind

[Now] Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, and all your money won't another minute buy.

Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind
Dust in the wind, everything is dust in the wind.

N) The choice of words was deliberate.

I'm sure it was. I wasn't trying to correct you. I was noting that I found your choice of words peculiar.

N) *smiles* The long-term deals with the universe level.

Prompted by the 'nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky' phrase. The sky is a function of the earth: the biosphere, seen from the inside. Unless we tow it along with us, in those few dozen billion years the Earth will cease to be recognisable, engulfed by the sun.

I intend to still be alive, or at least to still exist, when that happens.
