Falling down, falling down...

Everything has just gone all to pieces... Last entry I was all happy. In my mind I'd just sealed a good friendship, and had an enjoyable evening.

And then I find that despite my attempt to explain things here, everyone assumed that Wulfy and I getting hitched meant we were in love, or something.

I said I was "medium" serious, and by that I meant that we are good friends and nothing more. And now I wish I could take it back, though I can't, and it woudln't help now...

Cajun... can I say I'm sorry? Can I say my feelings for you haven't changed? I want to talk to you, and I feel like you've shut me out. Wulfy is a friend... nothing more. Nothing less either, and I care about him, but he can't replace you. I'd have said yes if you asked to marry me in IRC... but I thought you didn't want that. Can you forgive me? And can you forgive me for not making the effort to be with you at BC? I thought you wanted me to back off... I'm sorry I read you wrong.

And please, anyone else reading this, if you see Cajun, tell him I'm sorry?

I don't know if it makes you feel any better, but I understood what you meant.

Your problem, I think, is that you forgot that people outside the Church have *VERY* different views about personal relationships than we do.

You said "medium serious" and meant friendship. To most people, however, the details of a medium serious relationship would be unsuitable to print.

Siece, m'dear, I think I know what you're getting at, but I beg to differ. As had since been pointed out ot me, "medium" covers a very broad range of possabilities. Yes, I probably could have explained it better, but I really doubt that everyone who read the post in question assumed that Wulfy and I were indulging in yiff and yaoi. (I mean really...)
