Minis!

The one box of minis came today. There's still one more coming, but this one had most of what I ordered in it. I am currently filing and fitting together SPark! Though I wasn't able to get a pin drill today, so I'm leaving the wings till later, but just assembling the body is going to be work enough, really. I'll assemble SPark and Alan today, and hopefully get a pin drill tomorrow and assemble Aidan and put the wings on SPark. Wheee!

On the plushwars front, the Omega Toy contact number reaches an answering machine informing me that Heidi (or was it Heather?) is out of the office until next week, so that's going to have to wait. Ah well.

Stand by for squee in 3... 2... 1...

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! (Well, the real squee will be on Monday, this is a pre-squee.) The paint your own Windstone gryphons have a release date for the pre-production batch. (That is, the initial design, made for testing, which will be modified slightly for general release.) They're going up on e-bay on Monday, and will be $30 each. $30! I can buy TWO! Maybe three! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

(Once I have those, then I just have to lurk in wait for the paint your own kirins and dragons. Mmmmmm.)

Wow...

I think I'm back to normal. (Now watch, next week will be one huge depressive episode...) I mean, I'm still up and down some. But it's mostly up. Lots of squeepoing, a bit of aughkill and a dash of woeisme, and that's normal. Wow. I've had a nasty thing to deal with yesterday and today, and I got mad, and was kinda down for a bit, but I didn't get depressed. Woot!

I'm still stressed as all getout, and have been sick off and on for the last couple of weeks. (Stupid acid stomach.) But that's manageable. That's been an off and on thing ever since about two-thirds through my mission.

I feel like me again. *spins in giddy circles.* And I have minis! I'm painting the winged tiger for Alan right now. It's going to be totally awesome, though I still am trying to figure out how best to do the flame stripes in paint. My usual method involves blending markers or pencils.
