Bannana!

JJ and I act like an old married couple, I swear.

His parents are out of town for the weekend. What's on our agenda? Well, tonight we baked bannana bread. *grin*

Also, I made taipoca, and concluded that if Calvin was right in comparing a bowl of lukewarm tapioca to his brain, the tapioca is zombie tofu. *slurps tapioca cheerfully* Mmmm.

I'm off to the country fair!

I've gone three years running now, which is an impressive statistic, given that the fair is held just outside of Eugene, and during the previous two years I lived in Ogden. But it's just that good that I arranged my summer travel, conventions, etc, around being able to make it there. It is the world's biggest hippie-fest, and is absolutely amazing. It's like Mardi-Gras collided with Burning Man in the middle of a woodlands hippie convention. Very fun! Where else could you get a steamed artichoke at a fair food booth? Mmmmm.

So that's the plan for today. I intend to wear a rainbow ear and tail set and hand out business cards, so I'll be doing a bit of promoting as well as enjoying the day's events. Whee!
