It's very subtle, but there's metallic gold on the "carp" scales on the sides, and the belly scales are blended and highlighted.

I had a frustrating time with this thing, as I was using four or five new paints/thinners/mediums, but I think I've got the hang of it now, and my next one should be even better!

It it really sad how much I want comments and praise sometimes...

CostumeCon 26 (2008) which I shall be attending (bought my membership already!) and at which I hope to debut a quad suit of FlameSong in her true form, just announced their hotel.

It's the Doubletree in San Jose.

If this sounds familar to anybody, that's because it's the hotel that hosts Further Confusion every year.

For some reason this fact greatly aumses me.
