He is fat! Mostly it's the fur (no really!) though some of it is the pattern. And this same pattern will work for nearly any largeish canine. I can make wolves and german shephers and so on. $200-250 is the rough price range for a plush this size. (Varies with materials, and with marking variations.)

ZOMG!

Apparently either there was a mis-communication of some sort, or that was the fastest international shipping ever. Because my bishy just now arrived! Bishy! Hee! He is currently bald, "faceless" and naked, and the naked at least I think I want to fix before taking too many photos. Because although he's not quite 100% anatomically correct, a gesture has been made in the direction of making sure that you know that he's a he. It's vaguely embarassing to have a 1/3 size naked man on my bed somehow.

I think today I will get a lot of stuff done, but I doubt I will get any work done at all.

Ghetto booty

My bishy has a big butt. Particularly for somebody so skinny everywhere else.

First try and pants pattern failed to have a butt/hips measurement taken into account. Pants fit (no more naked bishy) but he can't sit down, because they're not big enough to go over his butt.

Otherwise the pattern works great though. So obiously I just have to let it out in the butt, and try again. *grin*

Augh.

Well, his funky proportions are really annoying me, (narrow waist, wide hips, VERY broad shoulders, scrawny arms, huge hands) and since he's not as flexible as a real human, I've run into trouble with the shirt. He shoulders are too broad to get into it. So I'm not going to be able to put him into anything even remotely form-fitting unless I have it open in front and button up. I hate buttons. Also, I hate cheap fake satin. Some cream satin was the only non-strange color I had for a shirt, that or velour. (Or brilliant cherry red, or metallic gold) I figured the satin was better. It wasn't. So he is shirtless.

Figures. Aidan always did end up losing his somehow.

As requested, more bishy pics. I can't quite call him Aidan yet, because I'm honestly still not sure if I'll keep him or not. I have to get the face painted on, and get the wings working (the wings themselves are fine, but the harness needs some tweaking, right now it won't stay on.) Anyhow, after that, if he still doesn't look right I may just sell him and try again. Although right now, sell or keep, I'm having a ton of fun with this.
