FYI

For those of you who care about poads, Melody just informed us that she has finished painting a batch, and they are putting the eyes in them now. The first batch is going to be available through some kind of pre-order system any day now. Not sure how it works, or if people who aren't Windstone forum members will be able to get some, but I plan on buying several, so I can resell some at cost to you folks, if you like. No word on price yet.

This first batch is in a color she calls "butternut" which is the color of the two poads on the left in this picture: http://bladespark.topcities.com/poads.jpg They will have either hazel brown or a pale lavender color eyes. I'll be getting a couple of each.

Sorry I can't say for sure on price yet. I do anticipate that they won't be really cheap.

Well... the first batch of poads is up for preorder. Melody said they're "for forum members" so I'm not sure the ettiqute if somebody who's not on the forum wants one, but if anybody does, I'd be happy to get one for them. They're $100 each, and are signed and have a certificate of authenticity, but aren't numbered. They're offering three eye colors, hazel (light brown), green, and lavender. There should be pictures of the different eye colors available shortly. (I'll edit to add a link once I get one.)

These are just batch one, there should be other batches with other color patterns eventually, and hopefully, although we have no guarantees, non-limited ones at a cheaper price will eventually be available. But for the serious collector, the chance to get one of the first batch is not to be passed up, of course. *grins*

Woe is me!

Well, JJ's gone and left me.

No, not like that! He's going on a manly bonding fishing trip with his dad and older brother. So I'm on my own for about a week. It's sort of strange not having him around, I've gotten very used to him. But I'll certainly survive on my own for a week!

POADS! I put in a pre-order, and got it in in time to get some of the already done ones, so they sent me an invoice, and I got a couple of small payments today, so I have money for poads, so I paid, so they are mine! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee! In just a few days I shall have a clutter of poads for my very own. (Poads come in clutters the way ravens come in murders. Also, we've decided that Windstone dragons come in "debts.")
