Snake!

I held a ball python some more today.

I sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo want one. If I possibly could have I would have just taken that one home with me, he was totally fearless and active and exploring. He tried to burrow into my elbow the way cats and rats sometimes do, and also made an attempt to get up my jacket sleeve. He was totally adorable! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaant!

I so can't wait until August when I can finally get one.

Also speaking of cute animals, Tari is curled up next to me, belly up, and is letting me give her tummy rubs. Which sometimes she loves, and other times she'll kill you if you touch her stomach. She rolled over after I started petting her this time though, so I figured I was safe from mauling. Kali you can never give tummy rubs. She'll either tolerate them, or contract on your hand and claw the heck out of it with her hind feet while making the most pathetic little sounds, as though you were hurting her, and not the other way around. My cats are nuts, but I suppose most cats are.
