This has eaten my life

I have started the climactic final scene. It will be long-ish, I think, but not that long. It's soooooooooo close to done. But yet again I am tired, and writing while very tired is probably not the best way to have this come out the way I want. I really want to... It's banging around in my brain, trying to ooze out my ears. Or something. I'm probably going to dream about it tonight. But sleep is good, yes.

May wordcount: 58,913 (8 days baby! That's more than 7,000 words, every day. I am actually wearing letters off of my keyboard writing this.)
Total wordcount: 76,889

Pages: 126 (single spaced) Effectively 252 "normal" pages. If that's not a novel, I don't know what is.

I can't believe it.

I was half thinking that this last little bit would just not come (inspiration was stubbornly absent for a bit there) and that I was going to be left with 99.9% of a novel unfinished, and that just like everything else I'd set it aside and never come back to it, but it's DONE!

Needs editing like woah, but all the same...
