High class finger fuzzies
Oct. 29th, 2011 06:38 amI decided that I just *had* to make something or other out of the new Tissavel fabric I got in this week. I love the stuff so much. It's amazingly soft, and the yellow-orange in particular is a fabric I have dreamed about. (Literally. I had a dream once where I found fabric just like that, and I was so happy. Yes, I'm probably too much into my work.)
Anyway, I was making some finger fuzzies for the market today, so I went ahead and made some from the new fur. It doesn't take much, so there's still plenty left for more important projects. :) And I did the math. Even though the fabric is $150+ a yard, I only need to charge $1 extra per finger fuzzy for them to be economical. Yeah, you can get a LOT of finger fuzzies out of a yard! Not that I will be making many more from this stuff. I have other things in mind for it.

The lavender one on the left is fabric I've had for a long time, the other two are the new fabric ones. :) They're $6 each, if I still have them left when I get back from the market this afternoon.
