Spontaneous comedy

We were driving back from the grocery store when we saw a large dog trotting casually along the sidewalk. As we got closer we could see that not only was he wearing a collar, he was trailing a leash behind him.

I said, "That's strange. I wonder where his owner...." and right then we came to a spot where we could see down the next street and there was a man, sprinting in our direction, looking very displeased.

We both completely cracked up. Perfect comedic timing, delivered by reality itself.
