I am really bad at posting here :(
Jan. 6th, 2022 08:54 amI used to use this for every random thought that crosses my mind, then I finally figured out how to use twitter. (I'm such a luddite sometimes... It's bladespark if you want entry into my ADHD ramblings. I also run four different discord servers at this point, so there are many ways to see me to on about whatever! Ask if you want to join one, the open ones feature "people I like" "Hades fans" and "GNC/trans/etc. writers")
I really should make an effort to long-form blog more often, though. Twitter is crap for coherent discussions.
Anyhow! Today I just have to share this:
New book cover! A REAL book cover by an actual artist (N. A. Melamed) rather than a hasty photoshop from stock photos.
The book itself is coming out fall of this year, from Microcosm Publishing, who seem pretty dang awesome. I actually have two zines with them already, as part of the same "Queering Consent" series. The zines go through the publishing process a little faster than full-on books do. :3
Pinioning, a sci-fi story with some fascinating aliens, that's also an exploration of non-sexual kink.
A Paragon's Punishment, a superhero F/F story that features some *quite* sexual kink. :D
(Both covers drawn by me, btw. I'm not the best artist, but I can manage some okay stuff. Very glad the book has a better artist, though.)
Working on more to come in the next few months, too! Last year was slow for me for original works (I was busy writing 600k of Hades fanfiction, holy shit! I kinda stopped even promoting it here, because it was such a flood?) but this year is looking like it's going to be a really good one for original stuff and getting published.
