Not doing the Sunshine Challenge, but I will say that having my feed full of people discussing irises is lovely.
They're my favorite flower, they were at my wedding, and on the cake, they have SO MUCH meaning for me, and also they grow around here natively (iris tenax, the Oregon iris) so I get to see then in the wild. <3 And orris (iris root) is delicious and the local company that makes Iris liqueur is fantastic, I might just treat myself to a bottle this week and have some iris vodka lemonades. Plus I use it as the bitterant in my Ares-themed tea blend, which has a flavor profile that's mostly fruit, smoke, and spice, but a trailing hit of bitter seemed appropriate for Ares.

This is the white variant. Purple is more common, but in this specific part of the woods I've only ever seen white. They're gorgeous either way!
