bladesparkYou know what's really ironic? I totally, utterly, and completely suck at costume design.
And yet I call myself a costume designer! What I really am is a creature designer. I do wonderful mascot designs, fursuit designs, critter designs that you can wear.
But I can't design clothes! And just now it's annoying me. Aidan Darkangel is supposed to be something of a clothes horse, unlike his klepto twin, who just wears jeans and a vest, usually. And I want to draw Darkangel properly. But to really do him justice I'd need some elaborate fantasy clothing, and I can't think up a thing. (He gets away with dressing plainly in Blood Choice just because the kind of clothing he favors isn't readily available in that setting. Silly outrageous renaisance-esque outfits are not to be found in late 21st century post-apocalyptic America.)
