I don't think it's surprising that so many of us emulate our parents. They are, after all, the very first people we copied behaviors from...old habits tend to die hard.

Nevertheless, it is disturbing.

At birth our mothers:
A) Smile and cry happily that we have all our fingers and toes
B) Proceed to put the Mom curse on us..."you will sound just like me when you grow up"
C) Smile sweetly knowing that no matter what happens in the future, that curse will stick better than Elmer's glue.
