Can I express my dislike of furbid? I thought I'd give it another go with a spare wolf tail I have in addition to the ones listed on my site, but of course it's not selling. What gives here? Most furries, when they go to commission a tail from me, are all "Wow, your tails are so cheap, I can't believe it!" And yet on furbid most tails go for a tiny fraction of what I charge, if they sell at all. It's really annoying. I have it up there for $5 less than I price I've repeatedly been told is shockingly cheap, and yet it doesn't get bid on!
Why do I even bother to keep trying?
(Meanwhile on e-bay my snow leopard gryphon is at least getting bid on, if still a touch lower than I'd like to get for it. But a lot of Windstone fans snipe, I've noticed, so I expect it to go up some when it nears the end, if not before then.)
I suppose I shouldn't despair of not selling a $30 tail on furbid though. I just got another suit commission, so September is all full, and probably the first week or so of October too. Woot! (I got downpayments for all of them, so supplies are covered, and thusly if all goes well *cross fingers* in September I should make nearly $2,000 profit, assuming they all make timely payments.)
