The expedition sets out.
Oct. 3rd, 2006 11:30 amToday is a chill and drippy day, but that just means I won't get overheated. I'm walking to downtown Eugene, about two miles away. I expect to cover the distance in a liesurely hour or so, because I don't want to exhaust myself. I haven't done any significant regular walking since I got back from my mission, and while the bit under a mile from Weber State to home that I used to walk never gave me any troubles, that was always one way, and this is more than twice that, and round trip. Though if I really get exhausted I can always catch a bus back. But I'd rather not do that.
Anyhow, I go to grab some munchies (must keep up my strength!) and then I'm off!
And when I return I shall have wonderful, wonderful art supplies, which shall swiftly be used, for today, today my kirins came!
(Suggestions for test paint colors are welcome. I have one brown-eyed kirin that I will be experimenting with, before doing the color scheme I actually want on a blue-eyed kirin. I'm thinking something in warm natural tones, at this point.)
