Sick.

Bleah. Windstones make my day all cheery, but other than that it's not going well.

I am sick, sick, sick. I think I've been fighting off something for quite a while now, and yesterday I was stressed-out enough that I apparently gave up the fight. Current symptoms; cough (persistant, for at least two weeks, it's hard to remember, worse today,) not-quite fever, (temp is 98) general feeling of listlessness, tendancy to oversleep (both persistant) dizzyness, (had one bad spell a few days back, but today just overall light-headed feeling) and my joints, especially hips, are achey, but that could be the weather too, as it's rainy today.

I'm not sure if all this is from one cause, or if I have a collection of assorted maladies. I'm to the point where, if it were easy, I'd just nip down to see a doctor, but I don't HAVE a doctor, and I also don't have insurance, so it's going to be all out of my pocket. So long as I don't have anything massive, weird, or especially expensive, this will be fine, but... it's really hard to get together the motivation to go to that expense when I have such a minor assortmemt of symptoms.

That sounds kind of like me on a bad allergy day... maybe try some sudafed? I hope you feel better soon.

Hopefully it's not the weather, or worse, a mold/mildew issue. I know we often have that problem due to the wet West coast weather, and it can cause a variety of flu-like symptoms, dizzy spells, etc. Can be worth having a dehumidifier on hand for, at the least, to keep excess moisture levels down.

Oog. No advice other than do the things you do to get well. Hopefully you get well soon.

Yeah, I feel the same way... generally flu-y: sore throat, headachy, mild fever, difficulty falling asleep (and difficulty waking up), dizziness. While I have a doctor (and for outpatient stuff, there's an on-campus hospital), I'm self-medicating with lots of chicken soup and warm fluids. And I'm taking it easy at the gym.

(I can't take the time to go to the hospital, labwork just got really interesting.)

Sounds like what I've got.

Fluids, rest, a decongestant & expecterant, perhaps get a perscription for antibiotics if it looks like it's going to turn into a sinus infection. But mostly just don't over do and drink lots of water and juice.
