Only not.

We managed to blow a fuse. How, exactly, we're still not sure. The wiring in this place is old as dirt though, so it's hardly surprising. And then, as if that wasn't fun enough, the sudden loss of power messed up the router. AND since JJ was in the middle of rebuilding his computer, he actually had to take the old motherboard from the previous computer, rebuild it into his second computer, and do a whole ton of screwing around in order to finally get us back on line again. It took something like four hours to get the fuse and get everything back up.

I am far too addicted to the internet, given how much this bugged me.

Then again, given a chance to wrap up loose ends and post away messages, I don't mind being offline for weeks on end, really, it's just when it's sudden and there's nothing better to do, it's very annoying.

Ick. Blown fuses are a pain. It's part of the reason I've got a UPS attached to my desktop - the likelihood of sudden power loss is pretty high, and I want to be able to shut down safely.

Internet withdrawel....not a pretty thing. I completely understand, I hate not being able to use it when you want to.
