I thought I'd try putting up a Loonakit on furbid. I'm going to go stick one up on ebay too. But while ebay won't let me link to my home page in the auction, furbid will! So even if they don't sell, I may get a smidge of publicity out of this.

I'm just curious to see which one goes for more. Though I suppose it's entirely possible that neither one will sell at all.

Given the different rules of the two systems the listings are a touch different, but it's essentially the same thing, at pretty much the same price. (Shipping is free on the one, but I started the bidding hider. Ebay won't let me make shipping free, so I lowered the start bid by roughly what it costs to ship.)

Anyhow, shall be interesting to see how they go.

I've never sold anything off Ebay, it doesn't like me!
Furbid can be a nice promotional tool, especially in conjuction with spamming every vaguely soft toy-relevant LJ community you can find... ;)

I try to spam at spaced-out intervals, so that people don't see the exact same post five times on their friends list and get annoyed at me. *grins* I'm sneaky.

I've had ebay be very hit and miss for me, and furbid most of the time is "miss" I'm afraid, but I figure it can't hurt. If nothing else, these guys can tag along to FurtherConfusion with me, and I betcha they'll sell there.

Also, that red fur is some of the nicest stuff I've ever worked with! It's ridiculously soft. I'm very jealous of the gal who's getting the dragon fursuit I'm making out of it.
