Named!

The new cat now has a name. I'm calling her "Elentari"

A huge stack of geek points to anybody who recognizes that name without having to look it up.

Elentari is a bit of Tolkien lore. She's a queen of the Valar, the foremost among such, as the wife of Mawe, the high king. She's the qeen of the stars, the "Elbereth Gilthoniel" that is called on in the Lord of the Rings. So she is a goddess, of a sort. She's also known by assorted other names, but that's the one whose sound I liked best.

And I can call the cat Tari for short! Tari and Kali.

Varda! She also put the Valacirca up in the sky, or the Big Dipper as we know it.

Aww. I recognized it as being from LOTR, but not much else >_>
How is she doing so far? Are they getting along well? I know my cat freaked out when we had a litter of kittens we were taking to the shelter in my basement. (We had them get the mum too, and took her there- dunno what happened to her, but they said that the kittens were so used to being around people that they were highly adoptable, even the scrooge of the litter)
