So now I'm all blah. Nothing like a little email conversation with my mother to get me down when I was finally up out of the pit of depression for a while. Meh. We are alike in many inevitable ways, but in other ways it's really shocking how different we are, and I honestly no longer understand that woman at all. I don't know what she means or what she thinks or why she says the things she says. And it's pretty obvious she doesn't understand me either.

Also... wtf? I am bleeding again! My period was just two weeks ago, and it was unusually short and light, and now there's more blood, although just a little bit, and what the freak is going on here? My body is going crazy. I guess it wants to keep my brain company.

*hugs* I don't understand my parents either. They just seem so mind-bogglingly different @_@

as for the whole period thing. It could be stress playing on your body. I do believe I remember that that can do that. 'Course, I could be wrong @_@ i'm not a doctor or anything X3 but I think I remember hearing that.

ah! that, and iron. an iron deficiency can make one's period act funny. It my case, the whole system becomes a flaming island of pain in my body and leaves me crying like a baby on my bed/couch X.x but I think it can affect flow and junk too.

Yeah, the period thing could easily be stress related. I completely missed one once, and I was told it could be stress related but as neurotic as I am it really freaked/weirded me out, wondering if I could have been drugged and raped or something and not know about it, -until the very next month when it came back just like normal. lol

And I didn't even feel like I was that stressed out. Who knew?

Your mother sounds very crazy heh heh so glad my mother never was a crazy. Seriously though, what did you two argue about this time? At least you no longer live with the woman, though I love her dearly I find that I can only tell her about 30% of what accually happens in my life these days.

It can be so hard to relate sometimes to family. Don't let her get you down if you can help it. We are here to cheer you up if you ever need it.

*goes to look for the corny joke thread on the forum*

I needn't tell you how much I understand the mother issue. ;) I think at some point I just sorta glaze over when she gets on about stuff I really can't understand or tolerate. It's really appalling sometimes, the things she says and does. 0_0

Heh, I know about missing periods too. While it's not abnormal to miss one (or have an extra one) here or there like you just did, I started missing mine several times in a row. Finally, after missing the damn thing for over an entire year, I was diagnosed (due to that and other symptoms) as having PCOS. That really sucked, and I am now on the pill indefinitely to correct it. Really hope I can get off it one day though. Not saying this is your issue though. No way to know that without significantly more symptoms.

If you've lost a lot of weight you can also lose your period that way (body tries to conserve resources). So I suppose the ole generic prescription of "eat, sleep well, and drink plenty of juice" would apply there. *LOL* Then again, our family doctor years ago used to prescribe things like "more bran, more juice!" for acute appendicitis too... hmm... I think he lacked a good repertoire of cures. ¬_¬
