OMG he is gorgeous! I think I have had my Windstone fix for a while now! Which is good because I'm really too broke just now to be spending money on them.
He's officially a "White" or "Pearl" emperor, but he's a case, like the jade dragons, or the variations in peacock, where the painter took some liberties with the official design, so instead of being white with pale gold accents, like the fledgling pictured with him, he's pale gold! I really like it, it's awesome!
I got him in trade for the supplies to do a fursuit. Which was a pretty fair deal. It cost me a little less than he tends to go for on ebay, but a little more than he went for new. White is one of the rarer colors, so they're fairly valuable. The white fledgling there was the most expensive of my fledglings, for example, costing even more than the limited edition ones did.
In other news, I might get a color comic out tonight after all... Man this week has been a madhouse! I'm almost glad my sewing machine didn't arrive here this week, because if I'd had all those bodysuits to sew on top of everything else, I think I would have exploded.
