No patience!
Jun. 5th, 2007 04:53 pmI want to ponyfy! I didn't get to buy my pony yesterday, because of a screw up which did, in fact, turn out to be my fault. *blush* Darn it! I really hate not having money.
But anyhow, have ordered assorted things I need, including a pair of bait ponies, one white G3 for Pink, and one Big Brother. (I have the vauge bits of an idea involving a Big Brother, and I got a moderately beat one quite cheap on ebay, out of pure dumb luck.) And I have pony hair in the mail too. So I figured while I wait for all this stuff to come for my Pink pony, why not take one of the ponies I still have and customize it? I kept five of my favorites when I sold off and gave away my collection, and there's one of them that really I'm not sure why I kept, looking at it now my repaint job on it is awful. I did it when I was about 14, so that's why, but still, awful. So I grabbed it, stripped the paint off, the set about removing the head. I ended up having to fully decapitate it. Normally you can loosen the head a bit, and pull it out without actually damaging the pony, but the glue job on her was something else, even now that I've got the head cut off and can get really good leverage at the plug part that held it in, I still can't get the glue to loosen one bit! That plug is glued in there for good! So anyhow, got the head off, removed the mane and tail, and got it all washed up and ready to mod. And then I went to get out the apoxie sculpt to add on some things... and rememberd that I tradded it away as part of my white Emperor Windstone deal! Ooops!
So now I'm also waiting on apoxie sculpt in the mail so I can finish the idea I came up with to kill time while I wait for stuff in the mail. Argh! Whyyyyyyyyyy must it take so long? I have no patience!
(Also, I am all out of sorts and grumpy lately, because I hate being broke, and I want to buy shinies, and I can't, and having your card declined is really frustrating, and finding out it was your own stupid fault is even worse. Grr.)
