Woe/Yay

I'm still not happy about moving, but at least we found an apartment! After spending a full day driving all over kingdom come, and looking at places that seemed to grow progressivly smaller and more ghetto as we went along, we happened (by pure dumb luck) to find a really nice townhouse that's just a bit larger than where we are now, for the same price. Halleluja! I'd been contemplating some of the tiny dumps we'd looked at, and was not at all pleased with the thought of having to settle for such a place.

We'll probably be moving within the next couple of weeks. Augh! So much to do, and of course now all my commissions for this month are going to be all screwed up and delayed. At least I'm not moving in October though, that would be a disaster.

Awww, man! Not that we've hung out much while you were in town, but it's increasingly less likely now that you're moving to - is it Corvallis or Albany? Either way, suck. *sigh*

And yeah, pretty much. But the U of O here has no engineering program to speak of, so... *shrug*

O.M.G. that KICKS ASS! Um - I'm not sure on the hair. Maybe trim it to regular length, take a pic, and let me see? I'm thinking, given the high and tight they have to keep, that I'll probably want the short cut, but the short cut can't exactly be undone. Heh.

*nods* Yeah, that's why I wanted to ask before doing it. Though I can undo it, just with a TON of effort to re-root the thing again! Anyhow, I need to let the glue holding the hair in dry first, and then I'll trim it up a bit and let you see. I do think the short cut will look better, myself.
