Pidgin

I'm trying out a new IM client. I suspect trillian has been causing a few things to get lost, so hopefully this will do better. If anybody has any trouble IMing me, e-mail is always the most reliable way to reach me, and commenting on an lj post the next most reliable, as I get notifications of all comments.

i'm on pidgin..the only issues i have are grop chas in MSN not working occasionally

Yay, Pidgin! I hope it works well for you, and doesn't cause any problems. It's all I use for IM (not IRC though) myself on my desktop.

Pidgin is a snuggly wonderful customizable thing. I've been using it since it was a wobbly old verion of Gaim...hopefully it is nice to you too.

I've been using Pidgin ever since it was a Linux-only application called Gaim. It works rather well.

I'm another who has been using it since it was GAIM. I have trouble sending and receiving files, but I prefer to do that via email anyway. I've hated Trillian every time I've tried it, but I like GAIM/Pidgin/Whatever.
