I want this! But I don't quite want it $18 worth, and the cheapest shipping offered is $8, and that's assuming I could win it with the minium bid. If I weren't a little strapped for cash coming up on the end of the month and next month's rent I might be wild and crazy and do it, but I just can'te quite justify it.

If that thing is anything at all like the photos, it's worth FAR more than the starting bid, but... *sighs* Ah well. Were it ending in a couple of days I'd try and cut a deal with somebody, but I don't think anybody will see it in time.

orange sapphires? it looked almost like a topaz... Those are sooo neat!

I'm partial to the blue ones, myself... both sapphires and topaz.

I think deep blue sapphires are about the prettiest shade of blue ever!

I bought a bunch of really nice stones while I was there...they were really cheap because of the value of their dollar. it was a lot of fun to buy things in open markets, in Pataya they had stores with BOLTS of silk...like $100 US for a bolt of full width silk you could barly get yer arms around.!

Sapphire is probably my favorite gemstone. Alexandrite is in the running too, but I doubt I'll ever have a really nice alexandrite, the synthetics suck and the real thing costs a ton.

I like the blue color a lot, but I have to say the orange is really growing on me.
