Oh.

Love it all, but the eyes... I'd prefer a more realistic looking eye set, but thats just me...

Cute work. :)

I've been getting into hyenas a lot recently. Any chance of selling this or is it not for sale?

[identity profile] bladespark.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
It was a custom commission. If you want to commission another one like it, they're $150. :) And I could use taxidermy eyes on yours, if you like, with eyelids and all that.

I am always amazed at how talented you are. It's like you just pull them out of the air or something- all cute, fuzzy and so prefect looking! *making grabby paws* I love plushies, so I may be biased. LOL

Awww, thanks! These guys really aren't that complicated to make, just time consuming.

DAWWWWWWWW!

[identity profile] xianghua.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
darling!

Could you get me a quote for a smooth collie plus, btw? Tricolor, not too big, either seated or standing. Not anthro, just cute.

[identity profile] bladespark.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
It's be $120 for one that's about two feet long, around the size of this guy, maybe a little smaller. That sound good?

[identity profile] xianghua.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh wow, I was thinking kinda a bit smaller (this is going to be a mascot/display for my vending table at shows. :P)- in the neighborhood of 18" max. Is that doable? I know it's a PITA to work with fur on smaller things.

[identity profile] bladespark.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
Oh sure, that's quite possible. It is a bit of a pain, but also less fabric, so the pricing is pretty much the same.

[identity profile] xianghua.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
Cool. :) I need to fit it into my budget (which honestly, won't happen until August- I'v egot the rally trial n May, Astrohall in July, and both those take a month to save ahead for.)

[identity profile] xianghua.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
Oh! And my fried Emmy (dreameyce) took pity on my nonfunctional paypal account and sent my $15 for me. :P

[identity profile] bladespark.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yup, I got it from her. Thanks!

[identity profile] thetommydodd.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Speaking as someone with no interest whatsoever in fur and plush, I can only say this.

GENIUS! How the hell did you do that?

I mean, hyenas are not the most elegant creatures on earth- their distinctive posture and gait is hunched, ugly and inelegant, To keep those distinctive recogniseable features yet achieve cuteness is not possible. But you did it. Respect due to the cleverness..

[identity profile] bladespark.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
He he he. The cute is the inevitable side-effect of all my art. I have cute-itis. Anything I make will come out cute, regardless of my actual intentions.

ZOMG CUTE.

Oh! I got the package days and days ago, but I've been so very busy that I haven't replied. They're great! I actually found a use for the onyx already, too! :D Thanks!!!

[identity profile] bladespark.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
Spiffy! Glad that worked out for you.

[identity profile] sulcharae.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 05:18 am (UTC)(link)
...D'AWW.

that is so cute ;_;

[identity profile] kainhighwind-dr.livejournal.com 2008-03-27 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
That's just made of awesome... well, awesome, plush fur, stuffing, thread and plastic eyes...

Seriously, good job on this one. :)
