Other stuff
Apr. 29th, 2008 12:09 pmTo anybody who's waiting on commissions that were supposed to be done last month, my sincere apologies. Depression kicked my butt, and then I had to finish Flame Song. I am going to be busting my butt this week to try and get April's commissions done asap! To the folks with May commissions, I will try my hardest to not let the spill over of April's stuff delay your projects any.
In other news, I am going to be starting Blood Choice up again! Yay! I need to do some re-working on part one, dunno if I'll go back and update the old posts or not, but I finally know what the flip I'm doing with part two and, er... there's going to be a part three and maybe also a part four. This is going to be an actual novel, rather than just a long-ish short story. Shock. (David just sort of insisted that he had a lot of vampire butt to kick, and I needed to write all this stuff. And I am insisting back that he's munchkin-ish enough as is, so I need to write some bits where the vampires kick his butt, and between those things, it just kind of got long. I don't think David is going to move into my head, but he's certainly one of the more vocal and pushy characters I've written.) If I manage to finish it, it will be my first "real" novel. Blood and Fire was kind of a novel, but mostly a collection of related short stories, and I never finished The Dragon Queen. So wish me luck, and I'll post here when updates start again. It may be a while, since as stated above I've got a lot of actual work to do, but if I do nothing but sew all day every day I'll go nuts, so I should find at least a little time to write over the next month.
