I just placed an order for nearly $2k worth of fabric for a single project. I feel all nervous about it. That's some pretty expensive fur. But I've done mockups and pattern layouts and everything, I should be able to avoid wasting a single unnecessary inch of the stuff. *crosses fingers* And I will be saving every single leftover scrap. I'm going to be making some really nice Loonakits in a month or so. *grins*

No, it's for a customer. If it were for me, I would hardly be worried. I won't hate myself if I screw something up. Can't say the same for customers. I mean ordinarily when I order fabric, if I goof and have to do a piece over, I just go buy another yard from my own money. But if I goof on this stuff, I have to spend an awful lot to fix it!

Tissavel faux fur, actually. It falls between NFT and regular craft fur in price, around $160 a yard for most types.

Cream, honey blonde, gray, and a dark silver-ish color.

Is there a way I can acquire a swatch from said fabric? Or are the Loonakits going to be around the same price as the normal ones. I'd love to touch the fabric and see if it is the softness and lavish quality that you pay for :3

I can send you a scrap, sure! Or you can pay $17 and get a full swatch set. I have one floating around here somewhere, though it's three or four years old and thus rather out of date now.

Well, I've used this stuff before and have a few scraps on hand already, I actually could send you small pieces of chinchilla, gray wolf, and lynx right now. And $3 should be plenty, yes.
