The pig ballerina suit is quite possibly the best "fat" suit I've ever seen. I wish I knew how they'd done it. The muppet wiki says it was made from foam rubber, but that's pretty vague.

And even if you don't care about costume construction, the pig ballet is still well worth watching.

Yeah, they did. *nods* And even though "elegant" and "artistic" tend to get applied to the typical ballerina frame more than that kind of build, that costume really is rather elegant and artistic, I think. I wish I could make stuff that good!

Nice! That's what I'm going for in a fat suit I'll be working on in the coming months. The generic round shape you always see makes the animal look more inflated rather than fat, so I'm trying to go for the details. Fat rolls and all. ;)

yay! i really don't like the "bubble" fat look. Although I suspect some of the fat suits are intended to look inflated O_O lmao
