The two big pillows are roughly 22" X 14" which is very slightly smaller than your standard bed pillow. The big swatch pillow I am keeping. The big scrap pillow and both the small pillows I'm probably going to sell. I just have to consider what's a fair price for them. Feel free to make an offer if you're interested in one. I'll probably be making more of these. They're therapeutic, compared to the stress of making fursuits, really. It's just squares, squares, squares. Though I wish I had some better fur for the plain backing. This was just some leftover grey fur. I wanted to use cream, but I have no good quality short cream lying about.

fantastic paws!! your stuffed paw pads are awesome!

i badly badly want a medium swatch pillow for when i go in for surgery and am stuck in recovery and the few days at home afterwards (especially since im advised to have a pillow on my lap for the ride home. and cuddling something soft would be very therapeutic). i dont have a surgery date yet tho...so when i know for sure, ill hit you up for one of these i think!

When i start getting actual income thats not 18 dollars every odd few days i will give a big swatch pillow from you becuase they are awesome <3. They look so comforting. you could use those as therapy pillows o.-.o like market them for therapy or something. I know that would help me out if i'm upset. I need something like that when i go on those long trips.

That's a good idea.

My main problem with marketing is trying to figure out where to advertise. I've advertised the fursuits mostly on furry forums and through google ads. I might look into the google ad thing for this, but how else to reach possible customers I'm not sure.

I don't know but what alot of people do at the place i work is they leave buisenness cards with permission of course x3. But it seems to work or leave pamphlets were ever you think you may be able to get potential customers like i was thinking of one day doing a catalog if i ever became a successful fursuit builder 83. Thats an idea. Also sorry about the spelling. Spell check doesn't pick up on every thing i type.

I speak fluent typo. :) Mostly I advertise on the internet. I don't get out enough to leave cards anywhere except at conventions, really.

after typoeing for so long i can read it to x3. I'm a horrible spell checker because i will go right over a mistake x3. Hmm you could advertise on dogpile and yahoo. Those are popular searchengines to. it might work and yeah i'd do it on google for the pillows to.

Well, the thing with google is the more popular the search term, the more expensive the ad. Advertising for fursuits is already costing me a fair bit, and "fursuit" gets 300,000 results. But "therapy pillow" gets 2,000,000 results, so advertising that is going to cost me a lot more, and I'm not sure it would be worth the money, since the pillows cost a lot less than fursuits do.

x.-.x i didn't know it worked that way. That's a whole nother ball game then if it works like that. Yeah i wouldn't suggest doing that on google then. If it were an expensive item yeah but not something cheaper like a pillow.

If your customers and friends don't mind, you could always ask them to promote your products to people, network your work. Though they may do that already (I know I do! =D ...it just sucks when you're dead broke from paying college tuitions so you can't buy anything but gas and food >.<)

I'd suggest taking out an ad in the newspaper, but not many people get the paper now-a-days....

Randomly browsed over here from cute_plush.....I really like your work, it's all so pretty! I would suggest you put your Loonakits and scrap/swatch pillows on Etsy. ♥

Glad you like my stuff!

The problem I have with etsy is that merely listing something on etsy doesn't sell it. I HAVE put a lot of my loonakits on there, and not sold a single one. Because in order to sell on etsy you have to get people to visit your etsy shop, which means advertising and promoting it, and why should I advertise and promote an etsy shop in addition to advertising and promoting my website where I already sell all of this stuff?
