Date: 2004-11-14 05:57 am (UTC)But ya, sorry I didn't post even a little 'hey go you!' post, but I thought it would be ignored, I'm not even terribly into fur suiting ^_^;;
But reading though the NSD thread what the fursuiters did was uncalled for.

Date: 2004-11-14 05:58 am (UTC)Well, maybe many people are just a little jealous that they can't make a living doing something they love, like you're doing.
I've seen your work in pictures. It's good. Very good. If anyone can make it, you can. ^.^ There's certainly a demand out there, and you've found the right place to market your products. You're a smart cookie. Keep learning from the mistakes and you'll figure it all out.
Lots of people are making money in niche markets now because of the internet. Before it, you would only have a limited market. Just your local region, unless you spent money on extensive marketing. That's not many customers. Now, you have the entire connected world as your marketplace. There's one single mother who just makes veils and sells them on eBay and supports her family doing that. She couldn't have done that 20 years ago. A lot of people still have the perceptions of the way things were 20 years ago, so they think that you'll have a more difficult time. They don't realize the power the internet can have.
I hope you find more support as you get started, because I'd hate to see someone so talented stop.
