March suit slot open.
Dec. 17th, 2009 10:34 pmI'm lazy, so I'll just cross-post.
I just had a customer cancel his commission. Always a little sad, but it's an opportunity for anybody who wants a suit from me relatively quickly. I now have a slot for a full suit or partial open in March of 2010*. 2010 makes it sound like it's a long ways off, but December is already more than half over, so we're talking three and a half months from now. If you're interested, you can drop me a line.

And remember, it's still December, so my December sale is still going on. So if you're able to make a down payment this month you can get a modest discount on anything I make.
*Slots are always approximate times, so this isn't an absolute guarantee of completion in March, just a "it should probably be done around that time." If you do need an absolute guaratee of a particular completion date, I can promise you one, but you have to let me know, otherwise a completion estimate is just that, an estimate.

Date: 2009-12-18 02:30 pm (UTC)Despite how we met (the whole JessKitt stupidity), I am NOT a bitch to work with. I really hate that my name has been marred by having dealt with her. She was the first person I've ever dealt with that I had a falling out with over the item purchased. I feel that I should have a disclaimer every time I commission something. :(

Date: 2009-12-18 11:26 pm (UTC)So anyhow. If you want arms that go to the shoulder with pawpads and claws (no paper involved. :D ) That's $150 Feet are $140 if you want the kind that have shoe soles for outdoor wear or $160 for the kind with pawpads on the bottoms for indoor only. Tail varies, but they're nearly all under $50. Mask... Hrm. You want a furred mask, I assume, rather than the smooth theater style? Do you want a moving jaw? I'm not sure I can do one with just a face mask, I never have before. Could probably do the mask for $200, so the whole total would be $550, roughly, and then with the discount it's $500. Does that sound reasonable? Down payment would be $150.

"You want a furred mask, I assume, rather than the smooth theater style?"
Yes, pls.
"Do you want a moving jaw?"
OOO! Cool! Sure.
"I'm not sure I can do one with just a face mask, I never have before."
If you can't, that's cool. I can go for a full head. Whatever is convenient for you. My character has SUPER long hair so finding a wig for it might be difficult. :S That's why I suggested a mask.
"it's $500. Does that sound reasonable?"
Yes. Quite. :D Especially since I know that you do excellent work.
"Down payment would be $150."
