Finally did something

Pair of dragon tails and a fox plush. I might have some Loonakits later on, depending on how the day goes.

I took a halfway decent photo of a fursuit head, tweaked the fit of it slightly, and made four pillows. Go me. *flop*
Pillows are for sale, $10 for the purple one, $15 for the otherthree two. (The ocelot is sold, though I do have fabric to make another. :) I have more of all those fabrics, though only a TINY bit more of the tabby tiger.

My sleep schedule is getting increasingly out of whack. I'm no longer on my usual New Zealand time. I'm not sure whose time I'm on now, I'm too lazy to look it up, but bedtime is coming in another hour or two.
Today was a day when I couldn't settle, so I hopped about and worked on a lot of things. I also went out and got stuffing to finish a bunch of stuff that's been sitting around almost done for a few days. So. Here's today's work.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... zebra meat plush prop! :D I'd love to do more plush props, this was fun. Stuff like this is simple, so it's around $50-ish, just fyi. :)
Coming soon - wolf partial suit, colorful fursuit-character plush, and maybe some random crap made out of velvet I'd like to use up.

Humans make weird Loonakits. The hood thing is HUGE, it came out a little larger than intended, but it's definitely a one size fits all, which is good, since I didn't get any measurements from the person it's for.

Mar. 23rd, 2011 09:51 pmOh man. Today all I've done is finish up the last little things (stuffing, etc.) on assorted projects, but I am exhausted. Especially as I finished the two biggest plushes I've made yet, and manhandling them around was a lot of work. I'm going to have to find a bigger box for the one!

I have made some stuff.
Cubone is a duplicate, though actually I'd tossed the original pattern, I never save super-specific stuff like that, but I seem to have re-made it just fine.
Today's goals: shave fur, cut out a plush, and sew some of it. Also play Pokemon. :D I gave in today and bought White at Toys R' Us. They didn't have any of the toys I was hoping for, so...

Today's accomplishment.
Don't ask me why PVC, it was the customer's idea. But it's always nice to have variety in my projects. Although at this point I'm heartily sick of working on this one. XD Full suits always get to that point. Part of why I'm enjoying the increased number of plushes I'm making lately.

This is annoying because I have two different major auctions ending soon, and I had intended to put up "last chance" calls on both on FA today. But even if I can manage to get them up, it's possible that nobody will see them. Which is quite annoying.
I guess I should at least go put the last call reminders up over on pkmcollectors and fursuitauctions.
And here too, I suppose. :D
Four auctions for various custom pokemon plush slots, a rare opportunity, since I don't take commissions for these normally, end at midnight tomorrow!

It's a hoodie with a jester's cap sewn on. :) I made the whole thing, hoodie and all. Not that I'm going to get into sewing clothing, because no. But it is nice to get a little variety every now and again.
Various circumstances have left me with a suit with no owner. So I'm looking for a new home for it. :)

I am going to take offers on this suit for the next week. Whoever offers the highest gets it. (Unless all offers are too low, in which case I'll probably toss it up on furbid or something.) You can buy the suit outright without mucking about with offers for $900.
It is a full suit, but is currently missing the hands and feet. I will make new hands and feet to fit the winner. I'll also re-size the body suit to fit the winner if necessary. The head fits up to 23 inches around, so should fit most people. I may be able to re-size the head as well.

Feb. 7th, 2011 02:47 pmReally pleased with this one. :) It's an all-foam head, somewhat more cartoony than my usual style. It's going to be finished in PVC, not fur.

Jan. 26th, 2011 01:28 amAll done! I bought so much stuffing today. I really miss Wal-Mart's 10lb stuffing boxes. Buying 10lbs 2lbs at a time is bulky and not quite cost effective. But anyhow, I had enough stuffing to finish the caterpillars. There isn't a huge color selection, I know. I didn't want to break into my whole yardage, when I've no idea if these will sell. So I used what I had already cut into.
Anyhow. They are cute. And for sale. Small = $12, Medium = $15, $18 for the long one, and large = $18. There are also some ears for sale, and some Loonakits. I think I might have posted those already, I forget.

Today's accomplishments

This one I've been working on for the last month or so. I'm glad to see it done finally. It did come out fairly well. :D
And this I started and finished this evening. :) I love taking a break from the big, stressful stuff to do something small and fun.
I also made some fox ears, but I've made a bajillion fox ears before, so I didn't bother to get photos.
Still taking voodoo doll commissions, btw. $15 each, complicated markings a little bit extra.

Tails usually cost between $20 and $100. So right now they'd be between $16 and $80. :) Exactly how much your tail will be depends on what you want, of course. So drop me a reference or description and I'll give you a quote.
My standard fox tail (the most popular tail I make) is normally $35 and right now would be $28. My standard wolf tail (also very popular!) is normally $40, and right now just $32.

This is a fun one. XD It's a rainbow ferret. And I got paid for it today as well, which is a relief, my account's been pretty empty of late. Christmas wiped me out fairly thoroughly, and people keep paying for things with echecks, that take three or four days to actually end up in my account.
If all goes well I'll have a husky suit finished by the end of the week, too. (Hopefully I'll get paid for that as well. :D )

I actually made this thing from start to finish today. Considering how my days have been lately, that's a gigantic accomplishment. :) Hopefully I'll get as much done tomorrow.
