what she said was so very true. i was in a counciling group like that and although i didnt realize it at the time, it helped me a great deal. i kinda teared up reading that because i remembered my own experience in that group and what i was going thru with friends and at home during that time.

Somebody tried to do a group sort of like that when I was in middle school. They were well meaning but very, very, very bad at it. :) And I was included because, I think, our school was so small, and in such a small town, and so very whitebread and middle class that there weren't very many obvious people to put in, so people with "problems" like shyness and bookishness got included.
