Asian goodies?
Oct. 7th, 2010 08:43 amI've started occasionally dropping by the local asian market. It has many delicious things! But with so much of the text in languages I don't speak, finding new things is, uh... quite an adventure. So I thought I'd ask for suggestions. What delicious asian goodies do you guys know of?
I already know of pocky (of course!) and mochi (am eating some right now!) and ramune, and botan candy, but not much else. So what should I look for next time I'm there?

Date: 2010-10-08 07:41 am (UTC)Ramune is the coke of the marble soda world and Marble Pop is more like the Royal Crown cola of the marble soda world. There are lots of "off brands" versions of the marble sodas, and they're fun to explore! You find more flavors that way. :3 This ends your public service announcement. XD

Date: 2010-10-08 12:07 am (UTC)If you like Pocky, Glico also makes Pretz, which do not have the fudge-y coating, but are also different flavors of pretzel stick.
If you can find a good melon drink, you'll be set from there on out, I think.
