Destressing

I was nearly entirely off the internet today. I checked my e-mail a few times, as I'm paranoid about losing commissions if I don't respond quickly, and I poked my head into lj once, and onto FA once to upload a comic page, and that was it.

And I got more done, with less stress, than I have in ages.

Honestly, I think the internet is really bad for me. I"m going to be cutting down. So don't expect to see me online very much in the near future. As is always the case, the way to reach me if you need me is by e-mail, mine's spark.costumes@gmail.com

I chose to do exactly the same thing years ago, for exactly the same reason, and found it a big help. I still like to socialize online a bit (otherwise I sometimes have no other opportunities for human contact) but avoiding all the drama in forums, communities etc made me feel a lot less worked up about stuff and I felt freed up for more of my other life pursuits.

That said, you will be missed! I should try to email to keep in touch instead but I can be the negligent sort in that regard, so I make no promises. :}

Well, I do plan to still keep up with LJ fairly well, after all I can drop any drama-rific persons/communities here. But yeah, most of the rest of it has got to go.
