I blame this on JJ. I was only collecting the toys, he's the one who got me watching the show. XD Anyhow, my pony character Jaybird, somewhat in the G4/hub style.

That show's kinda awesome. Some pretty good humour, and the animation and art style is fresh for the series. I likey.

I'm really digging the new show. I was sure I'd hate it, but it's actually really fun. Great voice acting and good comedy. Pinky Pie is my favorite. It was her song about laughing at scary things that both horrified me and made me want more at the same time!

I went into it pre-hating Pinkie Pie, she's massively over-merchandised, she was part of the terrible "core 7" thing, in the previous pony generation, (and the only one of those to get carried on to the new generation unchanged Oops, forgot about Rainbow Dash, who was also core 7, but there were way fewer toys of her made, for some reason) and the whole "bubble-headed" stereotype put me off, but I got to admit I've warmed to her since. Although half the reason is that watching the other ponies be baffled at her ridiculous behavior is hilarious. The whole "Is she...?" "Yes she is." thing when she started singing cracked me up.
