I'm not sure I get the appeal of fox-wolves, personally, but here's a spiffy one I finished last night.


It's a plush, not a quad suit. XD It's nearly six feet long if you count the tail. Hand-painted eyes, hand-sculpted plastic eyelids, hand-sculpted little claws, hand-painted detailing, taxidermy jaw set, not to mention making the plush itself... he was a lot of work.

Date: 2011-02-25 06:22 pm (UTC)And making patterns is WAY easy for things like this because I cheat. :D I made him by first making a dummy shaped like what I wanted from wadded up newspaper taped together. Then I covered it in a "skin" of saran wrap and duct tape. When you cut the skin off, ta-da, pattern! And you only have to skin half of it if it's going to be symmetrical.
