Does anybody out there speak Japanse?

I'm trying to come up with a good name for this. I want the name to be in Japanese, but I hardly know two words of it, so I need some help.

When colored, it's going to be rainbow-furred, but with blue as the dominant color. I've disocvered that rainbow is "nani" and blue is "aoi" apparently. But I just don't like Nanikit or Nanisune, or Aoikit, or Aoisune. They all sound cutesy to me, not elegant. Though I could live with Aoisune, if nothing better comes along. Which is why I'm asking if any of you know Japanese.

And what's the word for just plain "fox" anyhow? As far as I'm aware, kitsune is just for the spirit fox, not the regular kind.

So, any help there? Any better suggestions?

I was under the impression kitsune meant a normal fox. But you probably know more Japanese than I do.
What about looking up normal Japanese names you like, and modifying them?

Apparently "kitsune" is the word for plain fox as well. Rainbow is "niji" and colour is "iro".

Here's my suggestions:

Myobu - A celestial fox sworn to Inari's (the rice god) service.

Nogitsune - Wild foxes who are not sworn to Inari's service.

Youko - An uncommon term for a spirit fox.

Ziazan - Another word for "rainbow", commonly used as a name.

I rather like ziazan. One thing though... how do you pronounce it correctly?

In Romaji, it's "Jiazan". Most likely, it would be pronounced like "gee-ah-zan", though they may drop the "ah" and just go with "gee-zan". Hope that helps. =^.^=

Aoiko Kitsune, which is simply blue child fox. I speak some Japanese but it's almost 20 years in the past and I haven't kept it up well. But, female children often end up with ko in their surname, meaning little or child depending on the character chosen.
