also, how much would something like this cost? i have this idea for some glove-like things and really would like to have them made sometime.

Yep, the tips are open. :) They're very comfy too. I actually lined them, which I don't usually do, though just with a cheap pair of cotton gloves.

As for price... Depends a little bit on what exactly you want. $50-ish most likely.
