I just finished putting up listings for a heap of new tails I've made recently. I especially like the snow leopard one... Even if you're not inclined to buy a tail, just go a check them out, I think they're pretty darn good, if I do say so myself.

I've got one now if you want it. *grins* If not, I'll list it on the site.

They are quite good. Question: Have you ever experimented with different connector types? Such as velcro, zipper, and "loop-over-the-pants" hook. I have mainly had to think of these different types because the pants that I wear don't have belt loops.

The velcro seems to work fine except that if someone gives it a good yank then it looks like your tail came off. o_O The zipper is a nice idea except that you have to attach the other side of the zipper to a pair of pants. The "loop-over-the-pants" hook is good except when you sit down on the floor or some other position where it gets pushed to the side then it usually tends to come undone. I even had some waiter playing with my tail and she pulled it up too far and it basically fell off.

I've had a couple of ideas with the zipper though, considering that one end has to be attached to the pants (thus making the pants kinda dedicated furry pants), a little tuft of hair on the pants near the zipper. The fabric of the pants would kind of explode outward with the fur to the give the effect that the fur is actually under the pants and the tail is "popping" out of the pants. The tuft fur could be interchanged (with different tails) by way of velcro (which would work in this situation since there isn't much likelihood of it being yanked off). It was just an idea I was toying with..that way even if someone lifts your shirt up or something, it still maintains the illusion of having a tail..most of the other connectors destroy the illusion as soon as you lift the shirt up and reveal where/how they connect.

Those are some interesting ideas. I've done the hook thing, it's easier than the loop when you have a rigid spined tail, and I'm doing a snap down one to wear around a belt loop with no belt in it too... I've done dedicated pants with the tail just sewn in as well.
