Belated Birthday party.

bladesparkWell, I got my purple hat and then some today. We celebrated my birthday (I frankly wasn't expecting a party, but my family threw me one anyhow.) We went to see Lilo and Stitch, which I have to say I loved. My impression is that it's not really meant for small children, though my little sister liked it. But then there are days when she reminds me of Stitch herself, so that's not saying much. Anyhow, I'd see it again anytime, it was funny as all get out.
My Dad had been given a couple of gift certificates to /the/ steakhouse in this part of Utah, the Timbermine, so they decided to take the family there after. It was heavenly! My steak was a bit more rare than I'd intended when I asked for medium rare, (It was practically still kicking...) but it was sooooooooo good I didn't mind one bit. And then they told the waitress it was my birthday, so I got sung to, and given a slice of ice cream cake. Mmmm...
And after that was done, Mom took me shopping and we got flip-flops and a beach towel (now I'm prepared for the summer) and my purple hat. Wheeee! Guess I had a birthday this year after all.
