Supporting Derpy (small sale)
Feb. 25th, 2012 01:57 amHasbro seems to have decided* we need less of our wall-eyed, funny-sounding, pony mascot for everybody different. I kind of think we need more.
So as a small gesture of support, until I raise my prices next month, anybody who commissions a plush of Derpy will get 10% off the price. (I'd offer more, but I'm broke-ish right now.) So that's the deal. One month. All Derpy plushes of any size. 10% off the normal price. My price list is here: http://www.sparkcostumes.com/ponyprice.html
You do have to pay the down payment in the next month, but you don't have to pay in full.
Just drop me an e-mail if you're interested. spark.costumes@gmail.com
*See here: http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/02/derpy-has-been-modified.html And I think it's horribly sad that anyone could see or hear a pony who's a little different, and respond by calling her offensive and demanding she be removed. They say, the people who demand this, that they're doing it on behalf of the handicapped, but I've yet to run into an actual disabled person, mental or physical, who thinks Derpy is offensive. Most of them seem to identify with her. Which makes it doubly sad that those claiming to defend them got her differences "fixed" and returned to "normal." We shouldn't behave as though handicapped people need to be fixed in order to be acceptable. They're acceptable just the way they are.
