What is it? Well,























It's a fox! Specifically a fennec Loonakit in ball-joint-doll form. Sorta. The only joint is in the tail and it doesn't really do much. But still! I've been meaning to learn how to cast various materials for ages and ages now. And this whole BJD thing has the subject on my mind. So when I finally decided to use my Christmas Amazon gift certificate to get some casting resin, I was thinking about resin dolls, and trying to think of something simple I could make, and this is what happened. :)

The casting stuff hasn't all come yet, and I also need to put some magnets in it, but otherwise it's all finished. It's going to be really cute in white with a little color blushed on. The tail will have a little "wig" of fur to go over the resin core, so it's fluffy.

I'm making a second one now. There will no doubt be a whole little series of these guys.
