I think that I will never be able to stop writing fanfic, because every time I post a new fic, I get a hit of comments and favs that is absolutely addictive. Before I managed to get a tiny sliver of popularity, publishing fics was merely frustrating, and I still kept writing them. Now, well, it's fun to write *and* fun to post them.
