What is your favorite series in the Valdemar scope of books?

Oooo. Really hard to pick! Probably has to be the Herald Mage books, though. I have a soft spot for tragic angst.

Yeah, that is pretty much the epitome of tragic angst-- really Vanyel got run through the ringer when all is said and done.

I have had soooooooo many half-baked hurt/comfort Vanyel fanfic ideas. Never quite got over the hump of sitting down to write one, none of them are that great, but I just want to hug him.

Ever heard of Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling? If you like yaoi/slash, I highly recommend that series-- also the two main characters also get put through the ringer.

I cannot possibly pick one! Oh goodness. I've made roughly five million things and only hated about half of them!

Right now I'm also super stoked about Dragon's Blood, The Sacrifice, and Kiss Against The Wall, though that latter also makes me nervous. :P But none of them are just out there for everyone to look at yet.

What was the fandom that introduced you to furries? Or your other gateway drug, if you will?

I actually got into furries through a weird chain that started with my wanting a website in the long-long-ago, joining Geocities, finding the fantasy-themed html chat room they had back in the day, meeting some dragon otherkin there, jumping to a dragon otherkin IRC server when Geocities shut down their html chats, and just generally getting exposed to furry through those folks.
